Introducing
the Hillenbrandt Scholarship
The Hillenbrandt Scholarship was established through a bequest that the Hillenbrandt Family left for the church in 2001.

The Hillenbrandt Scholarship Fund, named for Charles and Caroline Hillenbrandt, was established with an allocation of $10,000 from the Hillenbrant Estate. Its purpose is to award merit scholarships ($250.00) to members of Good Shepherd enrolled in post-secondary education programs through a yearly application process.
Contributions from the congregational members over the years have prevented this fund from being depleted. The Hillenbrandt Scholarship Fund welcomes donations from any member or friend of the congregation, their estate, or other sources at any time.

Since its inception in 2002, with the first awards being distributed for the 2003-2004 academic year, more than $20,000 has been awarded! The deadline for submitting an application is April 1 of each year.
